Welcome to Capital Church
We are really glad you are exploring Capital Church community. We are a safe vibrant, ethnic-diverse community that is learning to grow in our spiritual faith.
We do not claim to have all the answers. We are searching together to discover what it is like to be and grow in faith and community in urban Wellington.
It is our hope, that you too, are looking for a place that is authentic, real, and relevant.
Your Visit
Upon visiting you can expect a relaxed informal gathering. In our worship service, you can expect some singing, praying, sharing in community, and a message centered on the Bible. There are snacks and drinks around, with the option to sit a little aside in the sofa areas should you desire.
We love our capital kids and are keen for them to grow in faith. During the service, there will be a teaching & craft time and space for the kids.

Accessibility
At our church, we are committed to ensuring that our facilities are accessible and welcoming to all members of our community. To that end, we are proud to offer an elevator that provides easy access to the second floor of our building.
Our elevator is located just inside the main entrance and can be used to reach the second-floor sanctuary, classrooms, and other spaces. The elevator is well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with braille buttons and audio announcements to assist those with visual or mobility impairments.
Our goal is to ensure that everyone who visits our church feels valued, respected, and able to fully participate in our community. We encourage all members of our congregation, regardless of their abilities, to take advantage of the accessibility features we have in place. If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to speak with one of our ushers or greeters. We are here to help make your experience at our church as comfortable and inclusive as possible.
